Texvyn Technologies Introducing Post Graduate Program in
PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEERING
Product Design Engineers, also known as industrial designers, combine their knowledge of design, engineering, and manufacturing processes to create functional products. They may conduct tests in order to determine whether their products meet all requirements, then document the results. Product design engineers must often meet with members of various departments within their companies in order to review prototypes or discuss required design modifications. The majority of entry-level positions require applicants to hold bachelor’s degrees in fields related to engineering, architecture, or industrial design.
It is pertinent to mention here that it is not easy for all engineers to remember all basic concepts of mechanical engineering because over time, our memory fades away and we can only remember those things which are continuously in use in our daily routine life/ job activities. Here on this product design engineering program, we have compiled all the basic concepts of courses taught in mechanical engineering degree.
Software: MS Office, 2D CAD
CAD DESIGN [3D Modeling + Drafting]
It’s safe to say that computer-aided design, or CAD, revolutionized modern day engineering. CAD allows for the easier development of products and product management integration. It also allows for greater modeling and even provides a basis for virtual networking!
In the engineering world, CAD is extremely important and widely used to design and develop products to be used by consumers. This knowledge is a hot commodity for those employing engineers, because of its benefits in the engineering workplace.
Software: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, CREO, CATIA.
CAE – FEA + CFD
CAE or Computer-Aided Engineering is a term used to describe the procedure of the entire product engineering process, from design and virtual testing with sophisticated analytical algorithms to the planning of manufacturing. Computer-aided engineering is standard in almost any industry that uses some sort of design software to develop products. CAE is the next step in not only designing a product, but also supporting the engineering process, as it allows to perform tests and simulations of the product’s physical properties without needing a physical prototype. In the context of CAE, the most commonly used simulation analysis types include Finite Element Analysis, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Thermal Analysis, Multibody Dynamics and Optimizations.
Software: ANSYS + SolidWorks Simulation + Hypermesh
Project management is the practice of initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria at the specified time. A project is a temporary endeavor designed to produce a unique product, service or result with a defined beginning and end (usually time-constrained, and often constrained by funding or staffing) undertaken to meet unique goals and objectives, typically to bring about beneficial change or added value.

Mechanical Design of Process Equipment’s –
Static equipment’s plays a major role in process plant industry. Mechanical Engineers are typically involved with the design and developing procedures for maintenance of mechanical and rotating equipment and machines. Mechanical Engineers support the plant equipment both onshore and offshore to ensure that it remains efficient and productive. Common static equipment’s used in the Oil and Gas industries are Pressure Vessels, Heat exchangers, Storage tanks & Distillation columns.
Piping Design Engineering –
Piping engineering is an emerging engineering science, although it has been there for years.A piping system is crucial to any process plant; hence it needs to be designed with precision and care. The efficiency of a plant highly depends on its ability to transport fluid through the pipes to various equipment that function collectively.
ANSYS | CFD | Simulation –
Designed to help you become productive faster, this course offers in-depth training on the use of Leading Simulation software. The training program includes the basics of turbulent fluid flow analysis, in addition to covering meshing concerns, modeling concerns, analysis, post-processing, available options and preferences.
ANSYS software is recognized as the world’s leading fully integrated suite of computer-aided engineering tools. ANSYS solutions are broad and highly integrated, with advanced technology in all key areas including structural, CFD, thermal, dynamics, and meshing.
